1. Swipe down from the top of your screen and tap the gear icon

2. Tap More. Then tap Tethering & Mobile Hotspot

3. Tap Set up Mobile Hotspot

4. Enter the details for your wireless hotspot here. Choose a name and set the password, as well as the security and AP Band. Tap Save.

5. Tap the toggle next to Mobile Hotspot to turn on your wireless hotspot.

6. Now you can connect to your Wi-Fi network (you named in step 4) and get things done!

Twitter has announced that it is changing the way conversations work on Twitter, bringing more control to users so as to make Twitter safer and more comfortable.

Here we walk though setting up the Mobile Hotspot on the leaked 7.1 OS for Bold 9900. Mobile Hotspot allows you to share your BlackBerry data plan with other WiFi only devices like the BlackBerry PlayBook or Apple iPod Touch. Some key points to be aware of:

• Mobile Hotspot uses your data plan
• Your carrier must have enabled tethering on your account
• The WiFi radio must be enabled for Mobile Hotspot to work

I can confirm that when using the Mobile Hotspot with your BlackBerry PlayBook, App World does work on the PlayBook. This is great news because under Bridge or Tethering App World was not available.
